DEADLY MIX OF POLITICS AND OLD GRUDGES


The Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre's Kenya section takes a broad look at conflict, land issues and displacement.

The Kenya Red Cross Society is one of the main aid agencies that responded to the latest post-election violence, as well as other clashes over resources.

The Kenya Human Rights Commission has news and information on human rights programmes and developments in different regions of the country.

International relief agency Medecins Sans Frontieres issued a mid-2008 report on the violence in Mount Elgon, Mount Elgon: Does Anybody Care?

MarsKenya is an anti-corruption lobbying group. Its website has a lot of material relating to politics, corruption scandals and civil society.
