May 29, (Reuters) - At least 15,600 people have been officially confirmed infected with the new H1N1 flu strain in 53 countries (with Taiwan and Hong Kong included in China).

Romania, Singapore and Slovakia identified their first cases of the new H1N1 flu virus this week.

Here are some details about the spread of the virus:
