HARARE, Aug 10 (Reuters) - Mediator South African President Thabo Mbeki has started meetings with Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe and the country's opposition leaders on Sunday, state radio reported, amid signs a power-sharing deal is close.

The radio did not give details on the discussions between Mbeki, Mugabe, opposition MDC leader Morgan Tsvangirai and Arthur Mutambara, leader of the breakaway MDC faction. (Reporting by Cris Chinaka; writing by Michael Georgy)
